Bad road conditions in varying villages and towns across the nation would soon be a distant memory.
The Ministry of Transport and Works will soon commence rehabilitative works to correct this situation.
Speaking at his celebration rally in Colonarie last Sunday evening, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said he has negotiated approximately 90 million dollars to repair secondary and feeder roads across this country.
“We should be starting the road works in another four or so weeks, I’ve negotiated nearly 90 million dollars for road works”, Dr Gonsalves said.
Gonsalves said it is going to be a project that will take a few years but the government is going to work on these roads which are long overdue.
“ I promise you that and I have done the negotiation and I have the money.”
