Richmond Resident body discovered with multi gunshot wounds

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Saville Murray, Jr. Murray was a 28 years farmer/block maker of Richmond.

According to investigations, about 5:20 am on June 17, 2021, Police were alerted to about what appeared to be a lifeless body lying on the ground in Golden Grove, Fitzhughes.

The Police visited the scene and discovered the motionless body of the deceased with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later positively identified as Saville Murray, Jr. The District Medical Officer also visited the scene and pronounced the body dead.

A post mortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the exact cause of death. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
