(Kingstown – St Vincent) – As of July 13th, 2021, the total COVID-19 vaccines administered in St Vincent and the Grenadines amounts to 25 509.
Four (4) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from two hundred and twelve (212) samples processed on Monday, July 12th, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 1.9%. Two (2) of the four (4) new cases are imported cases.
Ten (10) new recoveries were noted over the reporting period. Seventy-eight (78) cases are currently active, and twelve (12) persons with COVID-19 have died.
Two thousand two hundred and forty-nine (2249) cases of COVID-19 and two thousand, one hundred and fifty-nine (2159) recoveries have been recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
According to the COVID Taskforce, persons who persist in incorrect or no mask use, remain unvaccinated, and participate in mass gatherings will continue to be at risk for being infected and spreading COVID-19.
