Virgin’s inaugural flight on October 13 will mark the beginning of a twice-weekly service on Wednesdays and Sundays from London’s Heathrow to SVG’s Argyle Airport.
The service will be operated by an A330-300 aircraft with 31 Upper Class, 48 Premium, and 185 Economy seats.
With its direct flight from JFK International in Queens, New- York, Caribbean Airlines will resume service on October 20.
CAL will operate a Boeing 737-800 on the 4hrs and 45min flight from New York to St Vincent.
American Airlines is also expected to recommence its twice-weekly flights Wednesday, October 20 and Saturday 23.
The Dallas Forth Worth carrier is currently operating an SVG -Miami flight on Saturdays.
American weekly flights will arrive via the European made Airbus A319.
New entry protocols being explored will see the traveller providing documentation for verification before boarding a flight to the island and PCR testing carried out at a different location and not at the port of entry.
Air Canada, which should have resumed flights on November 1, will now restart on December 6.
