Virgin Atlantic made its inaugural flight to the Caribbean island of St Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday, 13 October 2101.
The airlines European made Airbus A330-300 (twin-jet) landed at the Argyle International airport at approximately 3.19 pm.
The flight, which originated from London Heathrow, landed in Barbados before making the 40-minute flight over to St Vincent.
Virgin’s inaugural flight on 13 October marks the beginning of a twice-weekly service on Wednesdays and Sundays from London’s Heathrow to SVG’s Argyle Airport.
The airline will operate an A330-300 aircraft with 31 Upper Class, 48 Premium, and 185 Economy seats on the route.
On Monday, the Governments of St Vincent and the Grenadines and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland signed an air services agreement.
