St Vincent Times understands that Maxian Harry, a veteran radio broadcaster, has passed away.
His career included work at NBC Radio 705 and SVG TV, among others.
In his over 24 years in the broadcast industry, Maxian Harry transitioned from part-time DJ to radio announcer, hosting many radio and television programs.
As a radio announcer, Harry described himself in 2008 as a people person.
As he progressed in his career of choice, Harry gained a Diploma in Mass Communications from the University of the West Indies, a Certification of Merit in Broadcast Journalism, Radio Documentary, Historical Documentary, written papers and portraits from CARIMAC, as well as radio features and magazines from UNESCO.
