President Maduro: There is an awakening of liberation in America
Assuring that Latin America is experiencing an awakening of a second wave of liberation marked by great ideas of unity and hope, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro exalted the rebellious spirit of the peoples of the world “who are finding their way step by step”.

UK insists on retaining Venezuela’s gold
The British judiciary insisted on Friday on denying the Venezuelan state’s request for access to the Republic’s gold reserves, which have been held at the Bank of England since 2019.
The ruling by Judge Sara Cockerill of the High Court of London, determined that she does not consider as valid the resolutions of the Supreme Court of Venezuela (TSJ) that declared null and void the appointment of the ‘ad hoc directive’ of the BCV appointed by the former opposition deputy Juan Guaidó, alleging that in the UK there is no legal basis to do so, refers a note from RT.
Cockerill said that while they could be recognised, doing so would “conflict” with the British doctrine of ‘One Voice’, which obliges state bodies to proceed in the same way in foreign policy.
Despite the decision denying the Venezuelan state access to the gold reserves, the team of former opposition deputy Guaidó was not authorised to access them, even though the board appointed by the self-proclaimed interim president is considered valid.
However, a further hearing is expected to determine whether they will be able to dispose of the precious metal.
