A Lotto jackpot of $595,000.00 was awarded to Lionel T Browne of Overland on Monday, 5th September by the National Lotteries Authority.
In addition to playing the lottery for a long time, Browne, 55, an omnibus driver is excited about his win.
“These are numbers I play a lot. It was a Friday evening, and I was heading home from work when I bought the ticket. When I went to buy a 3D around midday on Saturday morning, I asked for the results. I was told the numbers and couldn’t believe I had won.”
Browne said he plans to take care of his two young children, ages 8 and 5. Additionally, he plans to build his own home.
Warrican shop in Langley Park sold the winning ticket numbers for the game played on August 26: 6,10,18,19,21.
Players will soon be able to play two brand new scratch games, according to NLA marketing manager Anthony Dennie.
