The Ministry of Agriculture held a two-day training workshop on soil health, fertility management, and commodity value chain potential.
The two-day workshop, which took place on December 7 and 8, had as its learning objectives:
Recognize the distribution of soil properties in SVG.
Explain the influence of soil properties on soil health and crop production.
Determine ecologically sound, long-term soil management techniques.
Associate soil fertility management with crop and ecological zones.
Determine the company’s sustainability and potential for value chain development.
