CALL FOR MUSICIANS FOR: THE TROPICSPIN MUSIC AND SONG COMPETITION
All amateur performers throughout the Caribbean and Central America are encouraged to submit their music videos for consideration for the second annual TropicSpin Music and Song Competition, which will take place on July 22, 2023.
TropicSpin.com is currently accepting submissions, which will close on July 15, 2023. All contestants need to do is visit TropicSpin.com and post their music video there using a Google Link, Dropbox Link, or YouTube Link on a Word Document with their names, the song’s name, and addresses as well as email and phone numbers.
The winners of this year’s contest will be decided by the spectators, same like the inaugural TropicSpin in 2022. At the conclusion of the webcast, the solo artist or group with the most votes will win the competition. Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite song. Therefore, all participants are urged to encourage their friends and followers to watch the programme and cast their votes for their favourite musicians or other candidates.
The winners will get US$1,500 for best solo artist and US$3,000 for best group.
Each participant must be from one of the countries listed on TropicSpin as being from the Caribbean or Central America. We will also accept entries from participants who are two generations removed from the region, such as those who are living in America or Europe but can only trace their ancestry back to the region through their grandparents.
The TropicSpin Music and Song Competition will be broadcast live on the Caribbean Magazine Plus Facebook page, YouTube page, CaribMag TV, and Caribbean Cyber Stream.
