Gaston Browne was sworn in as Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda for a historic third consecutive term on Thursday morning.
With a lower parliamentary majority, he stated that he will have a smaller Cabinet this term.
Mr. Browne, who also serves as Minister of Finance, Corporate Governance, and Public Private Partnerships, took the oath of office at Government House in a brief ceremony less than 24 hours after his Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party won nine of the 17 seats in Wednesday’s elections.
The other Cabinet members are expected to take their oaths on Friday.
