Garth Saunders Passes
Garth Saunders, former CWSA manager, has died, the St. Vincent Times has learnt. On October 19, 1983, Saunders began his professional career.
He served in the public sector for 39 years, the last 18 of which he was Chief Executive Officer of the CWSA.
Saunders also worked for the Ministry of Works for two years before being assigned to VINLEC for three years as a resident engineer on the $84 million Cumberland Hydroelectric Project.
Saunders was also Deputy Chief Engineer at the Ministry of Works and worked as a senior management for the local Goddard Group of Companies, especially Coreas Hazells Inc., for eight years.
