- ACM calls on Government to apologise to media workers
The Association of Caribbean Media Workers (ACM) is calling on the Government of Grenada to issue an apology to media workers.
ACM in a statement said this follows its recent actions that led to the barring of media workers from the swearing-in of new Cabinet ministers on January 4, 2024.
The ACM says it supports the actions of the Media Association of Grenada (MWAG) in boycotting state events until a full apology is issued by the government.
The ACM views the recent actions as an act of disregard for the media and hopes that an apology along with an open media policy would guide the relationship between the government and the valued media workers.
