Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew left here on Wednesday for the Middle East to discuss major geothermal investment projects aimed at furthering the sustainable development goals of the twin island Federation.
A government statement said that Drew will be meeting with several investors in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai before returing home on April 19.
“The outcomes of these meetings in the Middle East … have the potential to significantly advance the Federation’s sustainable island state agenda.
Successful partnerships forged during this time can pave the way for the implementation of St.Kitts and Nevis’ innovative geothermal projects and serve as a model for other small island states,” said the brief statement from the Office of the Prime Minister.
