Updated: The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body found early this morning on a beach in La Pompe, Bequia. The deceased has been identified as a 71-year-old Female from Harmony Hall.
Police received the report of the deceased at approximately 6:10 AM today. Preliminary information indicates that the deceased was staying at a nearby apartment and was last seen on the beach around 6 PM yesterday evening. A post-mortem examination will be conducted soon to determine the cause of death.
The RSVGPF is diligently continuing this investigation and asks anyone with information to contact Police Emergency at 999/911, The Port Elizabeth Police Station at 784-458-3350 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 784-456-1810.

- Woman found dead at Friendship Beach, Bequia
The body of a female in her (70’s) was found in the waters of Friendship Beach, Bequia, on Wednesday morning.
According to information obtained by the St Vincent Times, the woman has been identified as a medical doctor; however, no name has been released by police.
The woman reportedly went for an early morning swim and may have run into medical issues. The body was found face down in the waters by a local fisherman, the St Vincent Times understands.
Further information revealed that the medical doctor was staying in a nearby apartment. At the time of publication, the Coast Guard had retrieved the body and was on its way to Kingstown.
