- SVGCC Embarks on Community and School Tour
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) proudly announces the launch of its Community and School Tour. The initiative, which is being put on by the SVGCC’s Centre of General and Continuing Education (CGCE), aims to provide guidance to third form students as they navigate the process of selecting subjects for their academic journey.
The Community and School Tour will showcase the diverse array of programmes available at the SVGCC, along with their respective entry requirements, to better enable students to make informed decisions that align with their academic goals and aspirations.
Head of the CGCE, Mrs. Jimisha Robers-Daniel, is enthusiastic about bringing the College to the communities. “It is my hope that the tour will serve a dual purpose in not only allowing us to enlighten students and the wider community about our programmes and entry requirements at the SVGCC, but it will also give us the opportunity to receive feedback which will undoubtedly help hone the offerings of the SVGCC.” Robertson-Daniel said.
The first leg of the tour kicks off on Tuesday 7th May at The Square in Barrouallie. Then on Thursday 9th May the activity takes place at the Chili Playing Field, Georgetown. The session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on both days and promises to be an immersive experience for all attendees.
