Prohibition on Drone Operations during ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Cricket We eagerly anticipate the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Cricket in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which is scheduled to take place from 13th June 2024 to 24th June 2024.
The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, reminds the public that the operation of drones is prohibited over any stadium or similar facility, or public gathering without written permission from the Civil Aviation Department.
This prohibition applies to the Amos Vale Stadium and surrounding areas throughout the duration of the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Matches.
The restriction on drone operations is in place to ensure the safety and security of all participants, spectators, and officials and to ensure the smooth conduct of the cricket matches.
Drones can pose significant risks, including collisions, distractions, and interference with official broadcast operations. We appreciate the cooperation of all drone operators and the public in adhering to these regulations to ensure a safe and successful ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Cricket.
