- Rolando “Dinero” Cato charged with murder of Precious Williams
The St Vincent Police Force says they have charged an individual in relation to the 2022 murder of Precious Williams. Rolando “Dinero” Cato has been arrested and charged for the offense.
Commissioner of Police Enville Williams made the announcement today at a press conference on Monday afternoon in Kingstown The officers of the major crime unit arrested and charged one Rolando Cato aka “dinero” for the murder of Precious Williams…committed sometime between the 9th and the 12th of May 2022, when this young lady was chopped up and body placed in a sack and dumped in Murray’s Road area,” Enville stated.
The Commissioner of Police stated that the police force remains committed in “pursuing to the very end, perpetrators of crime and violence and these acts of murders.”
Commissioner Williams also used the opportunity to commend the officers of the Major Crimes Unit and urged the general public to do their part in helping the police.
In May 2022, officials in Richmond Hill uncovered the body of Williams in a gutter adjacent to Joyette’s Auto Collision.
A post-mortem examination of the body was conducted on May 16, 2022. The autopsy indicated that her demise was the result of “multiple sharp injuries.”
Meanwhile, police officials also announced that they have seized over 100 rounds of ammunition and approximately 14 firearms during various operations.
