WeFm this morning received the threat of arson live on radio at about 8:44am.
This as WeFm’s morning show host Donnie “Prince” Collins was at the time discussing the issues surrounding the recent posting of a video on social media website Facebook depicting an elderly man being abused by an adult female.
The segment of the discussing was open to Vincentians at home and in the Diaspora to call and air their views. Upon taking a call via telephone the threat was issued. The caller said “We will burn WeFm down by the end of the month, burn it down”.
An official report has been lodged with the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police force. WeFm 99.9 LTD was assured that the matter is being looked into and an investigation has been launched.
