The (RSVGPF) Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines police force will see additional law enforcement officers added to its ranks.
The Ministry of National Security has release monies for the additional hiring of some 60 new police officers.
For the year 2017 and up to May 2018 over 150 young persons applied to enter the RSVGPF.
Minister of national security Dr Ralph Gonsalves said over the next few weeks the applicants would be vetted.
Gonsalves said these are real employment that is happening before citizen’s eyes. The starting salary for new police officers is now $ 1800.00 dollars.
