St Vincent and the Grenadines will continue to feel the effects of the passage of Tropical Storm throughout Friday 28th September 2018.
SVG met office says, A few stations across the island have already reported rainfall accumulations of more than 3 inches (75 millimetres) during the last 24 hours.
A further 1 to 3 inches (25 to 75 millimetres), with isolated higher amounts in mountainous, are possible, as pockets of moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and scattered thunderstorms, continues across the islands. A Flood watch will remain in effect until further notice.
The Noel River in overland has overflown its banks making the roadway impassable at this time, various parts of St Vincent have been reporting high winds and heavy rain.
Nemo is also reporting that an Earthquake was felt in St. Vincent and the Grenadines some 30 minutes ago, Kirk is the second storm to form at 8.3 North since 1902, in that year SVG saw the eruption of La Soufriere
The quake had a magnitude of 5.6 and was positioned at Latitude: 15.11N Longitude: 60.43W and at a of Depth: 10 km
In Barbados overnight, several homes were flooded, and persons had to be rescued from flood waters by Barbadian authorities, no loss of life was reported.
In St Lucia there has been minimal damage to infrastructure, However, it is the banana farmers of the Mabouya Valley who have once again suffered the greatest loss at the hands of a weather system.
