Two intruders were shot, and one killed, by Belmont resident Delonore ‘Toosie’ Corea last night when he allegedly caught them attempting to remove a vault from his property.
The deceased has been identified by police as Hugo Young. The other intruder, identified as Kelroy Richards, has been hospitalised with leg wounds. Both men are residents of Victoria Village.
A cutlass was discovered at the scene, which is believed to belong to one of the intruders. Police are currently investigating the matter.
