Police arrested and charged Akim Archibald, a 25 year Conductor of Largo Height for the offence of Assaulting a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.
Investigations revealed that on the 30th October 2018 about 5:30pm at Hospital Road, Kingstown, Archibald assaulted a Police Officer by allegedly striking him on his right hand with his hands and for resisting arrest, by pulling away from the Police Officer, he being a Police Officer acting in the due execution of his duty.
The accused is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer to the charges.
