The World Pediatric Project (WPP) concluded its final laparoscopic mission for the year 2018 in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
For the period January to December 2018 there were a total of 14 missions in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, the hub for pediatric specialty care in the Eastern Caribbean.
A total of 763 patients were evaluated, 199 from the region and 564 locally. A total of 183 children received surgical intervention, 72 children from across the region and 111 Vincentian patients.
