Seven Vincentians are among the Queen’s honours list for 2019.
According to the London Gazette publication of December 28th 2019, Four women are among the Seven.
Knight Commander, of the said Most Distinguished Order would be bestowed upon: Dr. Arthur Cecil CYRUS, O.B.E., C.M.G. For services to medicine and to health services.
A C.M.G.of the Most Distinguished Order to: Girlyn MIGUEL. For services to politics, education, community and to women empowerment.
An O.B.E. To be Ordinary Officers of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order to : Corsel Cassandra ROBERTSON. For services to civil aviation.
And Mr Derry Travis WILLIAMS. For services to banking and to the financial sector.
An M.B.E. To be Ordinary Members of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order would be bestowed upon : Robert BALCOMBE For services to agriculture.
Molly Aliena BAPTISTE For services to industry and to commerce.
And Sherron Jocynthia MORGAN-PETERS For services to education and to community work.
