Kelroy Richards, 27, of Victoria Village, will now have to walk with the aide of a crutch after his left leg was amputated this week.
Richards’ amputation came about after farmer Delroy Corea shot him in the leg, when he broke into Coreaa’s home along with Hugo Young, 27, who was shot and killed.
Richards is now a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital,once he is discharged there he could face prison time if convicted of robbery.
