Joel King from the Central Leeward town of Barrouallie was on Thursday, January 24h, 2019 committed to stand trial at the next Practical Sitting of the Criminal Session at the High Court before a Judge and jury on a charge of murder on Billy Adams of the same address on July 27th, 2018 at Layou.
The order was given by Chief Magistrate Rechanne Brown at the conclusion of a paper committal which looked into the circumstances that lead to Adams’ death.
Adams is said to have died as result of a gunshot wound to his chest on the date in question. King is being represented by Defense Counsel Ronald Marks.
