The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kelson Layne, a 60 year old, farmer of Brownstown/Georgetown.
Reports are that at about 9:10am today, May 30, 2016, the deceased body was discovered with several stab wounds, at Brownstown.
Police say a postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body.This has brought to 15 the number of homicides recorded here this year.
Update @ 11.30:News784 understands that the man who was killed goes by the name I-LAY.

While information is still sketchy, News784 has been informed of a murder in the Georgetown community.
Information related to such, indicates that the individual was chopped to death in his house. What triggered such event was not relayed to us.
We don’t have the name of the individual who was killed, or individuals who would have been involved in such gruesome attack.
