News784 has learnt of the passing of Alice Mandeville a veteran Trade Unionist.
She was a stalwart of the Commercial Technical and Allied Workers Union where she was a member for 38 years and served as president for 22 years.
Along with her work as a trade unionist, Mandeville also worked at the former Cable and Wireless.
In July 2000, she participated in a two day workshop calling for “increased role for women” and to stop the Discrimination against women in the workplace.
