WATER RATIONING – MONTREAL SYSTEM
Due to the on-going lack of rainfall experienced through the country, and the 70% reduction in flows at the Montreal Water Source, the CWSA is now unfortunately forced to expand its water rationing program to include the following areas and at the noted times:
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 AM AND 12: 00 NOON
Ginger Village, La Croix, Akers, Enhams, Belmont, Southwood and Calder Ridge
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 PM AND 5:00 AM
Richland Park, Hopewell, Simon, Glenside, Jackson’s Pasture, Sayers, Carierre, Collins, Evesham Vale, Ginger Village, Akers, Enhams, La Croix, Yambou, Peruvian Vale, Carapan, Calder, Pommeset and Calder Ridge
In order to minimise inconveniences, the CWSA advises residents in these affected areas to activate emergency water storage plans during periods when the supply is made available.
The CWSA also regrets that this action will continue until rainfall and river flows improve significantly.
