Nicholas Bernal, CEO, of Seasons Farms Fresh, a Miami based agriculture import company concluded meetings yesterday with tehnicians in the Ministry of Agriculture and private sector exporters.
Mr. Bernal has a history of exporting commodities from the OECS member states of Grenada, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
St Lucia through Export St. Lucia intends to join the export programme to the Seasons Farms Fresh during this year.
The company is interested in exporting dasheen, soursop, tumeric and golden apples.
In an interview, Hon. Minister Saboto Caesar, stressed the importance of creating new markets with stakeholders who are experienced in the business.
