Hon. Saboto Caesar is currently on a visit to the British Virgin Islands. Today the Minister held discussions with Dr. Hon. Natalio D. Wheatley, the current Minister of Education, Culture, Agriculture, Fisheries, Sports and Youth Affairs of the BVI.
Issues of markets for agriculture produce, fisheries opportunities and the exchange of technical expertise in agriculture and fisheries were the main subject matters reviewed.
A large number of Vincentians are currently in the BVI working on continued hurricane recovery and rebuilding efforts.
The BVI is also home to one of the largest Vincentian Diaspora populations in the Caribbean.
The Hon. Saboto Caesar took the opportunity to invite Hon. Wheatley to SVG during 2019 to further address many other opportunities in Agriculture and Fisheries.
