The Argyle International Airport which is set to become a major game changer for St vincent and the Grenadines economy is set for another big player in the airline industry.
Sources close to News784 indicated that airline personnel from Thomson Airways was in the state recently meeting with high-level officials, to clear the way for Thomson rights to land at AIA upon completion and operation, which is expected by mid-year.
Sources also disclosed to News784 without highlighting names,also disclosed that a US air carrier along with a Caribbean base airline has also sought rights to land at AIA upon completion.
Thomson which started up back in 1965, currently serves the Caribbean destinations of Cuba,Jamacia,Dominican Republic, Aruba, and Barbados.
