NDP’s leader Arnhim Eustace says he will be seeking permission from the DPP to bring a private criminal matter against Winston Gaymes, the Central Leeward Returning Officer in the December Elections.
Eustace says that Gaymes has already admitted to wrongdoing in a sworn affidavit and it on that basis the NDP will be going to the DPP for a fiat, to lay criminal charges against Gaymes.
Eustace also made it clear that all those who breached the Representation of the Peoples Act, the law pertaining to general elections here, will also be facing the court.
