News784 have been informed of a number of robberies and vehicular Vandalism on Friday night and Saturday night.
A number robberies were reported to us ,between Campden Park and Lowman’s hill, among them on Friday night was a shop in the Cane Wood area , a number of gunshots were heard by residents sometime after 11pm.
Among those affected when their vehicle was broken into, was a popular radio personality, Rajiv Roberts (known as DJ Ruffy) of WEFM fame, he fell victim to thieves on Soca Monarch night.Pictures from his Facebook page clearly shows the window pane of the back door directly behind the drivers seat smashed, and the radio deck removed.
A total of 13 persons reported to News784 that they suffered a similar fate as DJ Ruffy.
The vehicles that were vandalized would have been parked in the Victoria Park /South River Road area, according to those who contacted News784.
