The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in collaboration with Guardsman SVG Limited and the Insurance Brokers will host a two (2) day workshop for members of Neighbourhood Watch Groups in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The workshop which is scheduled to take place from September 3-4, 2019 at the Foreign Affairs Conference Room from 9:00 am daily, will focus mainly on crime prevention tips and strategies; and improved coordination between the groups, the communities and the police – to make our communities safer.
The theme of the workshop is “partnering with and empowering neighbourhood watch groups to function effectively”. Remarks will be delivered by Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibilities for crimes, Mr. Richard Browne, Mr. Paul Seale, Director of the Insurance Brokers and a representative from Guardsman SVG Limited.
A cordial invitation is extended to members of the media to attend and bring coverage of the official opening ceremony from 9:00 am on September 3rd and the closing ceremony at 4pm on September 4th, 1029.
