St. Vincent is becoming an Energy Compliant Nation. We are producing our own renewable energy through hydro, solar and soon geothermal energy.
Small as well as big countries have to keep the oil in the ground and stop burning fossil fuels.
We, at Richmond Vale Academy, had the honor of hosting the Geothermal Team with members from St. Vincent, Iceland and Canada here at the Academy in 2013.
We are using solar water heaters, have set up a 17.5 kWh Photovoltaic Solar system with 70 panels on one building and we are experimenting with different biogas models.
