Visas will no longer be mandatory for Vincentians travelling to Ecuador.
Likewise visas will no longer be mandatory for Ecuadorians to travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This comes as the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Government of the Republic of Ecuador yesterday signed an agreement relating to the Exemption of Visa requirements for Holders of Ordinary, Diplomatic, Official, Special and Service passports.
The policy was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Louis Straker and Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency Galo Yepez Hol-gu-in.
Speaking at the signing ceremony at the Foreign Affairs Conference Room, Sir Louis Straker said that the visa waiver agreement will result in greater benefits in tourism for the two countries.
