President of Venezuela proposes dialogue to interact with the US

International Anti-Imperialist Meeting kicks off in Venezuela
Representatives of social and political movements from the five continents will participate in the Anti-Imperialist World Meeting that started on January 22nd in the capital of Venezuela.
Under the slogan “for life, sovereignty and peace” the attendees and participants of the meeting will denounce the neo-liberal, anti-imperialist policies promoted by the United States and its allies.
Venezuelan government denies search of Juan Guaidó offices
The Venezuelan government denied on Wednesday, January 21st, that authorities raided the offices of opposition deputy Juan Guaidó and indicated that the police operation responds to a corruption investigation against two businessmen with an office in the same building as the politician.
The Minister of Communication and Information of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, denied that the officials had the private office of the opposition deputy as their objective, ensuring that it was an operation against two businessmen for “legitimization of capital.”
Venezuela repudiates the decision of the Government of Guatemala on rupture of relations
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza repudiated that Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei decided to break relations “definitively” with the Government of his country.

Venezuela assumes Grulac presidency in Unesco
Venezuela assumed the presidency of the Latin American-Caribbean Group (Grulac) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) on January 16th, the country’s Ambassador to the international organization, Hector Constant Rosales, informed.
Through his Twitter account, Constant Rosales said the group’s board of directors will also be made up of the representatives of Cuba and Nicaragua. Grulac is made up of 33 member states of Latin America and the Caribbean, and serves as a non-binding dialogue group to discuss issues related to regional and international issues.

Reverol: Indicators of crime and violence fell by 36.2% during 2019
