The “sanctions”, the Supreme Pontiff warned in his message on Sunday from the Vatican Basilica, prevent offering the citizens themselves help according to the great needs of the moment.
“Let us ensure that they do not lack basic necessities, which are more difficult to obtain now when many businesses are closed, nor they lack medicines and, above all, the possibility of adequate healthcare. Considering, the circumstances also relax the international sanctions of the affected countries that prevent them from offering their own citizens adequate help and that the great needs of the moment are faced by all the countries, reducing or even forgiving the debt that weighs on the budgets of the poorest ”, urged the Pope.
