Rasheed Fontenelle, 15, of Peter’s Hope emerged winner of 2016 WEFM Summer Reading Challenge.
Rasheed out read the other four finalists to capture the title, making him the first male to win the competition in its three years of existence.
In the second position was Avin Cruickshank, 14, of Pembroke and third position, went to Azariah John, 14 of Evesham Vale.
The most disciplined participant award went to Rhojaysha Craigg, 14, of Campden Park.
Most improved participant awards went to Sydroy Edwards, 15, of Argyle.
All of the participants received school supplies and other prizes. The winner received a trophy and a Tablet compliments Courts.
