Last Friday, Courts St Vincent and its vendor partners hosted the successful re-launch of their initiative, which gives Courts customers the opportunity to have Courts pay for their purchases at the partner stores.
The re-launch took place in fine style at the Old Public Library yard in the heart of Kingstown, and saw Courts and some of its partners displaying some of the items that they have to offer to the general public, and which could be purchased under the agreement.
When a customer sees a product that he or she wants at the partner store, they can simply go to Courts and make an application for credit.
As long as their application is approved, the customer can get the item and Courts will pay for it in full, while the customer repays Courts.
Speaking at a brief re-launch ceremony on Friday, Courts Senior Officials praised the initiative, while encouraging the public to give the plan a try.
Commercial Manager Lisa Veira, along with Credit manager Wendy Edwards and Credit Supervisor Lucetta Mapp hailed the initiative as a novel design, which would help users to achieve more of what they need, through the help of Courts.
Sudesh Mannah, OECS Credit Director also called on the public to use the new service, while giving the vote of thanks.
Cherolene Fergus, a Courts customer who made use of the program, also encouraged others to do as she did, and purchase an item that was not available at he favourite store.
The public was able to browse the various booths that were set up for the exhibition of products and services that they would now be able to access more easily, thanks to the new Courts initiative.
The list of Courts partner vendors in this initiative consists: Adams Brothers Engineering, Cash Money Auto, Dekie’s Auto Zone, Express Data Systems Ltd, Fabric Plus, Fine Things, GCK Investments, St Vincent Jewellers,, Generl Importers, Haydock Insurances, Joche Moments, Metrocint Insurances, SVG Tire Sales and Services, The Trend-LEVI’S, General Hardware Supplies, Third Eye Security, Fanfare Events, Nightingale Book Shop and Lewis Auto World.
