Vincentian national Tevin Bubb who was nabbed during recent anti-drug operations in Grenada have been remanded to Richmond Hill Prison.
His co-accused Ernie Peters of St. John’s Grenada, was granted bail in the sum of one hundred thousand dollars.
Bubb appeared at the Sauteurs Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 23rd August 2016 and is due to reappear at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on September 2nd, 2016.
The 22-year-old was charged with trafficking of a controlled drug after one hundred and ninety-six pounds of Cannabis was found aboard a vessel he was on.
Officers from the Coast Guard and Drug Squad intercepted the speed boat outside the waters of Black Bay, St. John as it traveled in a southwesterly on the 20th of August 2016.
