A Georgetown resident is nursing a bullet wound at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital following a weekend incident.
Mosiah Joseph speaking to NEWS784 said he was shot at some time around 1.AM on Saturday morning while making his way home.
He told NEWS784 on making his way back from a friend’s home and in close proximity to where he lives, he saw a shadow followed by a rumble, then, 3 shots were fired in his direction.
Joseph said one of the bullets caught his right leg causing a bone in the knee area to be broken.
He told News784 he did not see the person who shot at him; he further told us that he has not been in any altercation with anyone hence he is at a lost as to why the incident occurred.
“I am grateful to be alive”, those three bullets could have ended my existence here on earth, he told NEWS784.
