The wife of St Vincent’s Prime Minister can end up in a wheel chair due to a potentially debilitating condition that she is facing, this according to Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves.
Gonsalves inform the nation on Wednesday morning that his wife Eloise Gonsalves has a cyst on her spine.
He says that the family has consulted with a neurosurgeon in Cuba, Trinidad and the United States.
Gonsalves said that he will travel to the USA next weekend to deal with family matters including visiting a US based neurosurgeon.
Gonsalves speaking on NBC radio this morning said that his son Adam is also facing a critical medical condition.
He noted that he will have to be strong and would not be involved in lamentations since there are people in far worst situations.
