Minister's Wife Opens New Medical Center

Vincentians now have another choice when it comes to healthcare with the opening of Caribbean Kidney and Medical Center.

The medical center which was opened on September 7th, 2016 is managed by Dr. Twanna Browne-Caesar, an American board certified Medical and Kidney specialist.

Browne-Caesar told News784 that it has always been her dream to offer quality health care in a professional and comfortable environment to persons in her homeland, to complement and improve on what is already available.

“This is the beginning of the realization of that dream. I hope to through networking with colleagues in the region to assist in coordinating care in other islands, and assist relatives through the maze of healthcare”. Dr. Browne-Caesar told News784.

Caribbean Kidney Medical Center offers general medical consultations as well as nephrology kidney consultations.

The clinic is located in Arnos Vale opposite “Options supermarket, in the complex that houses The Paint Shop. Persons wishing to make appointments can call 458-4462; opening hours for the clinic are from 9am – 5:30pm.

Browne-Caesar told News784 that the clinic will offer Dietician services as well as other diagnostic services and treatment in the near future.

Dr. Browne-Caesar obtained her medical degree in Jamaica but specialized in the USA and worked there for some time prior to returning to St. Vincent and the Grenadines in October 2014.

Dr, Browne-Caesar is the wife of the Hon Saboto Caesar, Minister of Agriculture on the island of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
