Police have arrested and charged Jason Minors, a 41-year-old Farmer of Cane End with the offence assault on 2.12.2020.
According to investigations, about11:30am on 29.10.2020 the Accused allegedly assaulted a 28-year-old Labourer of Cane End by striking him on the back of his head with an unknown object causing Actual Bodily Harm.
He was further charged with assaulting the said 28-year-old Labourer by pointing a gun at him with the intent to commit the offence of wounding. The incidents occurred at Cane End.
The Accused man appeared before the Serious Offences Court and pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was granted composite bail in the sum of $2000.00 with one (1) surety.
The matters were adjourned to 11.12.2020 and transferred to the Mesopotamia Magistrate Court.
