President Maduro: Venezuela and Russia sign 12 new cooperation agreements
The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed at the closing of the meeting of the Russian-Venezuelan High-Level Intergovernmental Commission that the meeting has been one of the best to continue with the advancing of the construction of a joint cooperation agenda until 2031.
“We can portray the relationship between Russia and Venezuela as a model, exemplary relationship between a gigantic Eurasian world power and a small South American country that is a moral strength for Bolívar and for Chávez”, the head of state said.
In his speech, the high dignitary also recognized Russia’s scientific trajectory. “As time has passed humanity has seen the emergence of a new, democratic Russia, an armored economy, a powerful industry, a powerful agriculture and a powerful people”, he said.
Bolivarian government accuses Colombian media of supporting aggression against the country
The Minister of Communication of Venezuela, Freddy Ñáñez, stated in the program Enclave Política broadcasted on the multistate TeleSUR that the hegemonic media only care about collaborating with the aggression against Venezuela.
“They don’t care about the veracity, the truth; they care to take another step in the direction of aggression against Venezuela”, said the Venezuelan minister. At the same time, he claimed that the Colombian conflict has been exported to create a theater of operations in Venezuela.

Bolivarian National Armed Forces continues to fight Colombian irregular armed groups
Venezuela’s Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López reported that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) continues to defend the border territory in the state of Apure against Colombian irregular armed groups.
Padrino López asserted that in the border territory confrontations against these groups continue, denouncing that the Colombian authorities do not attempt to capture the illegal structures that operate in the country, “they cross the river – irregular groups – make their skirmishes and return to Colombia with the protection of their authorities”, he added.
Venezuela receives 50,000 new doses of the Sputnik V vaccine

Venezuelan government approves Plan Oil for Vaccines

Venezuela sues the US before the WTO for coercive measures

In a press release, Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza condemned the statements of the Colombian Foreign Ministry expressing special attention to the recent operations of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the border state of Apure.
