St Vincent and the Grenadines will be the recipient of more Covid-19 vaccines under the COVAX program. The vaccines will be SVG’s second tranche.
The country will receive 21,600 doses, which are expected to arrive by late Tuesday evening.
Last Thursday, St Vincent and the Grenadines donated 16,000 doses of the vaccine to Trinidad and Tobago, which is set to expire in late June.
St Vincent received its first tranche of vaccines (24,000 doses) from Covax on April 7.
To date, Covax has delivered 12, 865, 700 doses of the vaccine to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
