Bancoex promotes the potential of Venezuelan hydrobiological products
The Foreign Trade Bank (Bancoex) in compliance with its policies to promote and diversify non-traditional exports, started this Thursday a series of live conversations through the digital platforms YouTube and Instagram, addressing in this first edition “the internationalization of Venezuelan hydrobiological products” in order to strengthen this sector that places Venezuela as an exporter of seafood products.
In this sense, Guillermo Lara Toro, president of Bancoex explained that the purpose of these talks is to promote the exportable offer of Venezuelan non-traditional products to the world, with the support of the Venezuelan government and thus open commercial possibilities in different markets worldwide. He highlighted the quality and potential of the fishing and aquaculture sector.

President Maduro highlights Venezuela’s struggle for a multipolar world
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro highlighted Venezuela’s struggle for a multipolar and multicentric world during the farewell ceremony for the ambassadors of South Africa, Joseph Khehla, and Nicaragua, Yaosca Calderón Martín, held in the Simón Bolívar Hall of the Miraflores Palace.
“Venezuela has been, is and will be the epicenter of the struggles for a new world, an egalitarian world, which is already on the horizon”, highlighted the President, who at the same time recalled the historical anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist struggle waged in our continent.
During the ceremony, the dignitary highlighted the excellent relations existing between Venezuela, South Africa and Nicaragua, nations that have rejected the aggressions suffered by Caracas on the part of the United States (US) and the European Union.

Venezuela and Nicaragua will strengthen cooperation in the areas of food, trade and health
Through the Nicaragua-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission, which will soon meet in Managua, both delegations will evaluate the strengthening of strategic cooperation in the areas of food production, trade and health.
The announcement was made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who explained that the bilateral meeting will also address energy and scientific alliances, as well as multilateralism and the possibility of triangulating common projects with Russia, China, Turkey and India.
Speaking at the farewell of the Nicaraguan Ambassador to Venezuela, Yaosca Calderón, he pointed out that both nations have “built a deep and true brotherhood” which constitutes a solid base for the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Agreement (ALBA).

Venezuelan deputies request investigation into Operation Puma
A commission of the Venezuelan National Assembly arrived in Argentina to ask the Argentine Congress for an investigation into Operation Puma during the administration of former President Mauricio Macri.
The Venezuelan delegation, headed by Congresswoman Blanca Eekhout, will deliver a report, which demands an investigation to determine the responsibilities regarding the attempted military intervention in Venezuela intended during Macri’s administration (2015-2019).
According to Congresswoman Eekhout, Operation Puma, financed by the United States (U.S.) State Department and sponsored by the then president, was intended to carry out a military action to overthrow the constitutional authorities of Venezuela.

Venezuela and Unesco make progress in education, culture and sports
With the intention of strengthening cooperation ties between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), the Vice Minister for Multilateral Affairs, Rubén Darío Molina, held a meeting with the Director of the UNESCO Office in Quito and representative for Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, Julio Carranza Valdés.
In this regard, the Vice Minister emphasized that this meeting is part of the decolonization policies, as well as of the diplomacy of peace promoted by the Bolivarian Government, presided by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro.
Molina specified that Venezuela will establish all the cooperation mechanisms in the different sectors attended by Unesco, such as: basic and university education, science and technology, culture, sports and ecosocialism.

Celac National Coordinators meet to advance regional agenda 2022
The Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Rubén Darío Molina, participated in the Meeting of National Coordinators of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), with the objective of reviewing issues of regional interest for the year 2022.
“It was a very constructive meeting, where we all set ourselves the task of continuing to make progress on a robust agenda within the region, on social, economic, environmental, trade issues, in addition to the international relationship of Celac with other countries, such as Celac-China and Celac-African Union”, detailed Vice Minister Molina.
He also highlighted the work done by Mexico during the two years it was in charge of the Pro Tempore Presidency of the integrationist organization. “Now, under (the leadership of) Argentina, Celac continues to advance in unity, within diversity”, he emphasized.

60 athletes will seek Deaflympic glory in Brazil
A little more than 30 days before its inauguration, the Deaflympic Games Caxias do Sul, Brazil 2022 were presented to the country and Venezuela will attend the event with a delegation of 60 athletes seeking medals for Venezuelan sporting glory.
The Territorial vice-president of Social Socialism, Mervin Maldonado assured that the delegation will have all the support of the sports institution in terms of documentation, uniformity, medical management, logistics and everything necessary, to face the 24th edition of the event in the best possible way.
“The investment of the necessary resources is guaranteed for the participation of one hundred percent of both the Deaflympic and the South American Youth Games delegations (…). Congratulations for the coordinated work of our athletes, their coaches, technicians and the entire Deaflympic component, on behalf of our President Nicolas Maduro and the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodriguez, who have managed the investment of resources, in the midst of difficulties, with a coordinated work between the sectors involved so that every day we are more efficient and effective in the participation of our country in this type of international events”, said the head of the sports portfolio, Mervin Maldonado.

New attack against the electric system is neutralized
Venezuela’s Vice-President for Public Works and Services, Néstor Reverol, informed that a new sabotage attempt was neutralized at the G/J Rafael Urdaneta Thermoelectric Complex, located in the state of Zulia (northwest). The Minister for Electric Energy also indicated that the event took place in the early hours of the morning when “a group of armed individuals tried to affect machine #7 of Termozulia”.
Through his Twitter account, Reverol detailed that “our security agencies acted effectively and managed to prevent this new attack”.
This fact is added to other systematic attacks denounced by Venezuelan authorities against its national electric system.
